Owner Verdict • July 2026

The Rabbit R1 started rough but has grown into something genuinely expressive and useful. The tactile controls, evolving multi-agent system, Magic Recorder, and creation tools make it a unique pocket companion for creators who want more than just another phone app. Hardware is modest, but the software soul keeps it relevant and fun in 2026.

As an actual owner since launch: I use it regularly for quick voice notes, rapid vibe-coded experiments, and as a secondary creative controller. The updates have transformed it from "interesting gadget" into something I genuinely enjoy pulling out of my pocket.
